Shaft Max Shaft Sealer
Billiards Innovations Maple Shaft Sealer – 4oz Professional Formula
Protect and preserve your cue with the Billiards Innovations Maple Shaft Sealer, engineered specifically for high-performance maple shafts. This professional-grade formula penetrates deep into the grain, locking out chalk, sweat, and moisture while stabilizing the wood fibers from within. The result is a cleaner, faster, and longer-lasting playing surface that resists warping and buildup.
Unlike ordinary sealers that merely sit on the surface, our advanced blend chemically bonds to the maple, forming a true protective barrier without leaving behind waxy buildup or artificial slickness. You’ll experience a naturally smooth finish with consistent glide, precision feedback, and superior control — exactly how a professional shaft should perform.
Each 4oz bottle is hand-mixed, bottled, and quality-tested by Billiards Innovations, ensuring unmatched consistency, purity, and performance. Perfect for cue makers, repair technicians, and serious players who want to maintain their equipment at the highest level.

How to Apply
Prepare the Shaft:
Lightly sand the shaft with 600-grit paper to remove contaminants and open the grain for proper absorption. Wipe away all dust before sealing.Apply the Sealer:
Using a clean, lint-free cloth, apply a thin coat of Billiards Innovations Shaft Sealer evenly across the entire surface. Allow 3–5 minutes of dry time between coats, and apply a total of three coats for optimal protection.Final Sanding & Buffing:
Once the final coat has dried, lightly sand again with 600-grit paper to smooth the sealed surface. Then apply a small amount of mild rubbing compound to a microfiber cloth and buff thoroughly until the finish becomes glass-like and silky smooth.Optional Wax Finish:
For additional sheen and feel, apply 2–3 thin layers of cue wax after buffing. This step is optional — the sealer alone provides complete protection and a professional-grade finish.
